I'm looking for archive bags that fit the Big, Soft & Slouchy direction coming through for AW26: larger proportions, relaxed construction, supple leather or suede, generous shoulder bags, hobos and crescent shapes that collapse or drape against the body.
But don't only search "slouchy bag." The interesting listings often won't use the language we're using to describe the trend now. A seller might simply call it:
"Gucci large brown leather handbag."
And that is exactly the kind of listing I want to find.

I'm looking for all three: a bag with enough volume to feel generous, but one that collapses, drapes or moulds against the body rather than holding a rigid shape. An enormous structured tote doesn't count.
I'm particularly interested in older, roomier shoulder bags rather than the current Speedy revival. The opportunity is in finding the archive equivalents before they become obvious.

A curved silhouette that follows the shape of the body.
Shoulder bag
Deliberately broad. One of the most useful search terms, because sellers use it for almost everything.
Shopper / tote
Worth searching even when you're not after a conventional work bag. Sellers often use these words for oversized soft bags.
Carryall
Useful for larger, less fashion-specific listings.
Bucket
Often brings up soft, voluminous bags even when the listing doesn't mention "slouchy".
Soft leather
One of the most useful material searches for this trend.
Suede
Particularly worth adding for AW26.
These terms aren't interchangeable, but resale sellers often use them loosely. That's exactly why I search all of them.
Found something weird? Good.
Don't dismiss a bag because you can't immediately find its model name. Look at the proportions and construction first.
Is it actually big enough?
Does it collapse or drape?
Is the leather supple?
Does it sit close to the body?
Does the shape work when it's not completely full?
Then identify the house, era, material and model before worrying about whether anyone else is talking about it.
